To proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all that Jesus Christ died to save humanity by all mediums/channels possible, and to encourage individuals to be followers of Jesus Christ and enjoy liberation and renewed life in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit and to promote evangelism, discipleship, prayer, physical health, emotional and psychological well being, and offer support to the needy and destitute for the public benefit and work in partnership with local churches for a better outcome.
MISSION STATEMENT
STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE IN THE INSPIRED, INFALLIBLE AND AUTHORITATIVE WORD OF GOD
We believe in the Bible as the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness and for revealing the nature and character of God and love of God to the world.
WE BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY
We believe in the Triune God; that there is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Unity of the Godhead, sovereignty and grace of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, in creation, divine intervention, revelation, salvation, justification, sanctification and final judgement.
We believe in the social nature of God as obvious in the Father sending the Son, and the Father and Son sending the Holy Spirit, and the Son sending us, and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit helping us understand how to live on mission.
WE BELIEVE IN THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Him begotten of the Holy Spirit, in His virgin birth, lived on earth in fully God and fully human form, in His sinless life, in His miracles,
We believe in His substitutionary atoning death through His bloodshed on the cross, in His bodily resurrection on the third day, in Him a sacrifice to God and a propitiation for the remission of sins. His death and resurrection are the only ground of reconciliation and redemption from the guilt and power of sin and death.
We believe in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, as the High Priest interceding for His people.
We believe in Him as the Way the Truth and the Life and Him alone provide access to the Father.
We believe in His personal return in power and glory, and will keep the believers’ from falling and present them faultless unto Himself for His kingdom.
WE BELIEVE IN A GOD OF MISSION
We believe that God is a missionary in nature. God in Christ came to live among people in the neighbourhood healing the sick, delivering the possessed and oppressed, helping the needy, renewing and liberating lives. And we join His mission in the community and the world.
WE BELIEVE IN THE MINISTRY OF THE
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that God the Holy Spirit is responsible for the work of renewal and sanctification.
We believe that God the Holy Spirit illuminates the believer and indwells every believer as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwelling empowers the Christian for godly living and spiritual service.
We believe that it is the duty of every believer to ask the Lord to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE IN THE MINISTRY OF EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP
We believe that the ministry of Evangelism is proclaiming and sharing the Gospel of Christ the message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the ministry of Discipleship that is practising everyday godly living of growing in Christ, teaching and helping followers of Christ grow up in maturity in Christ is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE IN THE RESURRECTION
We believe that all humans are sinful and unsaved, and face the judgment of God, that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that for the sinful man to be saved, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ produce liberation and renewal of life by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; the saved to the resurrection of eternal life in heaven and the unsaved to the resurrection of eternal punishment in hell.
WE BELIEVE THAT BELIEVERS ARE THE CHURCH
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all believers are members of His body, the Church.
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD ORCHESTRATED HUMAN SEXUALITY FROM BEGINNING
We believe that the plan of God for human sexuality is to be expressed solely within the context of marriage.
We believe that God formed man and woman as exceptional persons made to complete each other.
We believe that God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society.
We believe that marriage is exclusively the unification of one male and one female.
WE BELIEVE IN PRAYER, EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP.
We believe in a God of all humankind who hears prayers with no impossibilities for Him.
We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, to the service of our Lord, to His Lordship and authority over our lives, and to the ministry of evangelism, discipleship and prayer.
